Time to move on.........in 2008 !!!

I am officially finished with my training period at ODS and I am on my own. I love it.........my job is very challenging and I am consistantly learning new things every minute of my day. Thankfully everyone at ODS is very helpful and guiding me along the way.........

Back to reality..........

These pictures of the three of us were taken just moments before we left for the airport. I miss Jake already and he hasn't left yet : (

We had a wonderful weekend together, trying not to dwell on the fact that Jake was leaving on Sunday to return to Arizona.

Fortunately we had alot of time together with family and friends. Catherine was here for a few days too. The moment we met her we fell in love with her......the whole family did. She is a beautiful, lovely and sweet gal. She is already talking about returning to Oregon in June. Jake will be home this summer working for Les Schwab and hopefully he will be able to take some time off and show Catherine around. Especially a trip to the beach is planned!!!

Catherine left on Thursday, January 3rd, and this is what Jake did:

Yes, he crashed!!!! He has been trying to finish the 5th book of Harry Potter and sleep won out!!!! Not to mention the lack of sleep he has had since he is been home. I recently learned something new about Jake......he is a night owl!!!!! I guess that's what happens when they go to college.......ah, to be young again!

I started at ODS on December 17th and I am in training period right now. I will probably be in training for at least three weeks. I hope that I am able to spend a lot of time with Jake now that he is home. I was hoping that I could maybe start after the new year, but I really need this job and I am blessed that I have a job!!!!! God's timing.....not mine : )
